EDI Leadership Culture, Accountability & Organisational Transformation

Stepped glass and concrete facade seen from below.

Most EDI programmes change the policy. Few change how the organisation actually operates.

Many organisations have equity, diversity, and inclusion policies but limited capability to embed equity into governance, decision-making, and culture, so initiatives stall at compliance and struggle to show measurable impact. This three-day programme develops the leadership capability to diagnose EDI maturity, dismantle systemic barriers, and build accountability that holds, treating EDI as a core competitive differentiator rather than a peripheral initiative.

Stakeholders, regulators, and talent increasingly judge organisations on whether inclusion is operational or merely stated. The organisations that can demonstrate the difference hold an advantage in trust, retention, and performance.

Who it is for

  • Strategic leaders: C-suite executives, board members, and senior public sector officials accountable for organisational culture and governance, seeking to align EDI with strategy and stakeholder trust.
  • Delivery leaders: project directors, asset managers, facilities executives, and operations leads responsible for building inclusive teams and ensuring equitable outcomes across projects.
  • Change leaders: EDI officers, HR leaders, sustainability officers, ESG consultants, and transformation managers designing inclusive policy and integrating equity into ESG, procurement, and talent strategy.
  • Emerging leaders: high-potential professionals preparing for senior roles and seeking the skills, confidence, and frameworks to champion inclusion and foster belonging in complex environments.

Aims of the course

  • Embed EDI into business strategy, governance, and operations, with clear accountability and measurable outcomes.
  • Diagnose organisational EDI maturity, dismantle systemic barriers, and lead change across culture, structures, and processes.
  • Build capability in change management, inclusive leadership, and evidence-based decision-making to manage resistance.
  • Provide tools to measure progress, sustain momentum, and improve EDI outcomes against organisational goals.

Delivery approach

  • Co-designed and co-delivered: academically grounded content from NTU, set in industry context by practitioners from the Blocx Matrix network.
  • Blended delivery: expert-led sessions, workshops, live case studies, and action-planning labs.
  • Peer learning: small-group sessions, scenario mapping, and facilitated reflection.
